Does supporting Tuya mean that HA is supported as well?

I want to purchase a smart lock. I found one on Aliexpress that seems to be okay for me. Since this smart lock supports Tuya.
Can I assume HA is also supported since there is an integration for Tuya in HA?

No idea if it will work. But I am not sure I would trust a lock that runs on the Tuya app. I would want it as far away as possible from a Chinese server

The Chinese server is really not the problem.
The problem is that there most likely is no post-sales support, so no updates if a security hole is found and no warning about it either, unless you follow all the security reports on the internet and catch that exact one.

The Chinese do not go burglar normal private houses, but burglars do and some of them can use high tech tools too.

If it is Tuya Wifi, it is hit or miss if it is supported in HA. Each Tuya Wifi device needs a custom quirk and if there is none, it is not supported.

For now.
When we get in to conflict with a government that has full power of them, the situation changes.
