I have HA installed at two distinct locations. One already uses the app and I’d like to add the other.
Can I do this without having to install another instance of the app?
yes, on the app, look under settings/companion app/servers (on ios)
a three finger swipe will switch server
Blimey, it does make it difficult to add a new server.
You can’t copy/paste the password from the Passwords app. This makes it tricky logging in when all you have is the iPhone as you have to either memorize a 20 character password, or write it down!
There’s a Keep me logged in option right there right there on the sign in screen, no?
Yes there is.
That wasn’t my beef, it was having to manually enter the password in the first place. Most websites will let you copy/paste.
Or use tinyurl or other URL shortener.
