In iOS 27, Apple released the ability to see energy usage in the “Energy” tab in Apple Home. I was wondering, is it possible to add energy monitoring entities to apple home? For example, the amount of solar energy I produced today. If it isn’t supported now, will it be supported in the future?
Currently the Home app does not support this. i would open a feature request w/ Apple if you’ld like to see this in the future. If you dont want to wait for Apple to build out a new feature for the home app, you can do this now in the Home Assistant app.
