Does the Skyconnect ZBT-1 have good range?

I’ll soon be switching over my devices from a Hubitat C8 Pro to my HA Green. I’m currently using the Hubitat Integration. I have a somewhat large house. Do you think the ZBT-1 would have any problems reaching say a second floor bedroom down the hall?

Essentially I’m just looking for opinions about the range of the ZBT-1. A little paranoia never hurt anyone!

-Thanks

It depends entirely on how many router devices you have. No Zigbee dongle connects directly with more than a handful of the devices it manages - messages bounce around the network until they reach their destination.

I’ve found the ZBT-1 to be excellent.

I ditto Jack’s sentiments.

The HA closet is at the end of a ranch style home. But with an outlet/plug as a repeater in every room, it’s all quite robust, even out to the shed some 40’ apart from the house.

My SkyConnect works great. Like @bob.t mentioned, I’ve also setup repeaters in nearly every room (more specifically, a Third Reality smart plug) and my Zigbee network is quite robust with them and I haven’t had any issues in months.

Thanks. I have repeaters in (almost) every room. I’ll soon have one in the garage once I get a smart switch out there (Or I could put a smart plug out there for now). After hearing the comments in this thread I’m feeling confident. Can’t wait to get the ZBT-1!

Thanks I have numerous Zigbee repeaters throughout the house too. So I’m confident Zigbee connectivity should be good with the ZBT-1.
