I wrote a plugin for Home assistant, (it’s in HACS). It’s called Domoticz Sync. No MQTT or whatever needed, just connect HA to Domoticz (or the other way around, or both, depending on your needs).
Some people prefer one, or the other, or both, depending on the use case. Now you can easily connect your systems up. No worries.
Current version is read only. Interaction is on the roadmap.
