I’d love to see when connecting a doorbell to home assistant we could get a door bell entity VS it being added as a camera.

And what would be different about a ‘door bell entity?’

Its just a camera and a binary sensor?

if home assistant knew it was a door bell and treated it as such when we tether to outside services like homekit for example we could get the doorbell notifications on our apple tv’s with out us needing to reattach the button press to the camera feed manually.
