Door closed icon: Green or red? Settle argument with my wife

I need a group consensus here because I am in disbelief right now…

On our tablet I have a security section as shown below. Before you read further below, take a look at the icon colors and take a mental note as to if you think 2 items need addressing and 1 is good, or 2 items are good and 1 needs addressing.

My thinking is this; in order to be able to go into night mode (security system on), all doors need to be closed. Front door has to be locked. Garages have to be closed. My thinking is, when these are TRUE, they would go green. So a quick glance at just the colors in picture below would tell me that 2 items need to be looked at before going into night mode.

My wife is telling me it should be opposite, that when everything is set and ready to go, they should be red.

Her argument is that when night mode is on, all the red led bars on each light switch close to every door flash red so therefore the items should be red when everything is ready. My response to her was I have them flashing red to ALERT you that you dont want to open the door because it will trigger the security system. The red in that scenario is an action. The red in this is more a status.

What say you?

Red = danger, therefore action must be taken.

On the other hand, your wife is always right. It was in the fine print of your marriage vows.

Simple suggestion for this discussion: choose different colors. In my setup, doors have the default entity color, and yellow when active (open). Never had to argue with my wife about it
