I would like to share with all of you my latest project. I have developed a door sensor that you can make with just an ESP01 and a few electronic components. It is very simple.

It is my way of thanking this community and the great people behind that work hardly on becoming Home Assistant better day by day.

Can you please let me know what’s the expected battery life?

Hi, I have two sensors installed since one month ago and both batteries are at 50%, so I guess they will last one month more.
Bear in mind my batteries are rechargable and the capacity is lower than alkaline ones.
