Can any of the three component parts of the Drayton MiGenie heating controls - the thermostat, controller, and/or gateway - be used with Home Assistant?
When Drayton moved on to the Wiser product series, they discontinued the MiGenie App, so their “British built to last” MiGenie devices stopped working as a smart system and became as useful/useless as the old heating controls I had thrown away when I bought a Drayton product specifically to get the app controls. It’s this experience of a big company taking my money only to later render their product useless that’s brought me here to set up Home Assitant on a Pi 4 I wasn’t using and create my own system.
I’m just wondering if there’s a way to use any of the old Drayton MiGenie hardware with Home Assistant.
I can see the IP for the MiGenie Gateway but get a 404 error when I put it in a browser.
