Dreame Vacuum - How to Continue to Clean Once Docked

Ok here is my scenario. I have a Dreame L20 Ultra vacuum that I send a command to start cleaning as soon as the house is empty. When I return home from whatever errand I am doing, I have the vacuum return to the base to recharge so that it will not be underfoot while I am home.

ALL of that works great!

Here is the problem. Sometimes I make a short errand and return home before the vacuum has had a chance to completely finish the house. It will be in its dock happily charging. Now when I leave the house again, the vacuum starts the cleaning process all over. What I actually want the vacuum to do is to start the cleaning process where it left off when I ran the short errand.

Let's say I have it set to clean the Living Room, Kitchen, and Bedroom. If I leave on a short errand it may only get to the Living Room and NOT clean the Kitchen and Bedroom. Now when I leave again, the vacuum will start completely over and clean the Living Room again before it even starts on the Kitchen and Bedroom. What I want the vacuum to do is if I leave the house again, I want the vacuum to skip the Living Room and start cleaning the Kitchen and Bedroom,

How do I accomplish this automation?

Is it possible to pause cleaning without docking? Just leaving where it is and then after 10 mins pausing it docks by itself. Or when someone leaves after 5 mins, it continues?

Mine cleans once a week when I leave for work. so nobody is home and it has plenty time to finish.

@chantal You can pause it and then resume it without docking it. The problem is now it will just sit in the way wherever you paused it. That is definitely not the solution i am looking for. I want it to dock out of the way when i return home and then continue cleaning from where it was once i leave again.
