Guys,
I am a little stuck setting up an Automation for a Gate.

What i have:
-Automated Gate
-Motion, Person, Vehicle, Animal Sensors from Unify Protect Cam

  • Motion, Person Sensor from Reolink Doorbell
  • NO real infra-beam or Car-loop to avoid Gate closing when there is a car

what i did:
Installed a boolean Helper that gets switched on when ANY of the above triggers trigger (Automation (1))

What I want:
How can i best set it up from here?
How do I switch off the helper again in the same Automation (1) when NONE of the triggers is active?

My plan was to creating a gate shutting Automation (2) that waits until the boolean helper is off…

Any help appreciated!

Should not need a helper here.

Whatever you come up with to turn the helper off could just be the trigger to close the gate.

The trigger state of your camera could be used to trigger the open/close of the gate instead of setting the helper.

Thanks! Yes, sure but I figured that adding ALL triggers to ONE Helper makes ist easier and less cluttered.
The triggers themself are on for too short though that is why the helper needs to be on for a longer time (check again) and then close, This is the part I am struggling with
