DS18B20 not working

Hi,

I am trying to setup 2x DS18B20 on a WT32-ETH1, but they are not working.

I am using GPIO32 on the WT32, I have a 4k7 pullup added between GPIO32 and 3v3. The run is about 10 meters and there are 2 sensors connected in parallel, for some reason the log displays “no sensors found”

Any ideas? I remember some time ago seeing that different resistances can be used when using different cable lengths?

Hello,

EDIT: cable 10m shouldn’t be a big issue.
You can decrease resistor to 3k3.
Are you sure there is vcc at the 10m away sensor?
Can you post your code and logs?

I just ended up putting a WT32 in the wall, it’s now working. Not sure if it was the GPIO I was using or what but all is working now thanks

Lol, well many consider me not human, but ill try.

I put the ESP WT32-ETH1 in the wall behind the fridge,
Ran an ethernet cable to the WT32,
Wired the DS18B20s directly to the WT32 ( ~ 1 meter )
And now all is working :slight_smile:
