I have an application where I would like to implement dual canbus. I have in the past used the MCP2515 along side the TJA1050 with a level shifter but this has lacked performance on the MCP2515 side.
Can the ESP32-C6 be used with dual TJA1050s on ESPHome? I couldn’t find anything conclusive in the documents and searching through other posts made the answer more ambiguous. I apologize in advance if the answer is right in front of me.
Yes I’ve used multiple busses in the past as I stated with the TJA1050 and the MCP2515 but I was sepcifically wondering about using two TJA1050 with the ESP32-C6 since that supported 2.
I answered my own question though, ended up buying them to test and can confirm, you can use two TJA1050 with the ESP32-C6 in case anyone else runs into a use case for them,
