DuckDNS without configuration?

Need a little help, I’ve been running Home Assistant for at least 5 or 6 years and have had plenty of different configurations along the way. I’m attempting to clean up some stuff that has been lingering for awhile. One of those is the DuckDNS integration. It’s currently showing up in my list of integrations, but I can’t seem to remove it.

It states: “This integration was not setup via the UI, you have either set it up in YAML or it is a dependency set up by another integration. If you want to configure it, you will need to do so in your configuration.yaml file.”

However there are no references to DuckDNS anywhere in my configuration.yaml file. Upon looking through my log file I do see several reference to DuckDNS as follows:

WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.duckdns] Updating DuckDNS domain failed: bridge411.duckdns.org

File “/usr/src/homeassistant/homeassistant/components/duckdns/init.py”, line 136, in interval_listener

I’m running Home Assistant Core on a dedicated machine, there is no reference to it in the custom components directory or the .storage directory. Any suggestions and how to remove the Duck?!

See if you went through all the removal steps here: Switch from DuckDNS to Nabu Casa

Thanks for the quick reply Tom…yep I just double checked the entire process you referenced. No signs of DuckDNS…I’m stumped!

Edit:: Wait! I never deleted the DuckDNS account. I never thought that would be causing the integration to appear, but after wiping it out and reboot, it’s GONE! Thank you!
