eArc failure with Sonos after using MusicAssistant

I have a Sonos Arc connected to an LG 65CX5LB OLED, via a Philips Hue Sync box.

Before HASS installation (running off VirtualBox), I had HDMI eArc set up so we could use both the TV and the Apple TV remotes to control the volume of the Arc soundbar, without issue.

Since running HASS however, if we play music on the soundbar through Music Assistant, the eArc stops working and the soundbar can’t be controlled with the remotes any more.

We have to power the TV and soundbar off, disconnect HDMI, turn on the TV and then reconnect the HDMI for it to work.

I’m not sure how to troubleshoot - any ideas? Any other information I can look for that might help?
