Easy shortcut to ZigBee network map

I tend to forget how to get to things like the ZigBee network map the next time I want this.

Is there a way to add shortcuts to either the main menu or to a view, or the Overview. A button with a label that goes directly to a feature, or create a submenu of shortcuts?

There are many options to add navigation…

A Shortcut card can be used on pretty much any dashboard…

type: shortcut
tap_action:
  action: navigate
  navigation_path: /config/zha/visualization
vertical: false
label: ZHA Map

… or you can use the navigate action and path from above as the action for whatever card you prefer.

Direct links can be added to the sidebar using the Custom Panel integration.

panel_custom:
  - name: ZHA Map
    sidebar_title: ZHA Map
    sidebar_icon: mdi:spider-web
    js_url: /api/hassio/app/entrypoint.js
    url_path: "config/zha/visualization"
    embed_iframe: true
    require_admin: true
    config:
      ingress: core_configurator

If you want it in the Overview, you can add it to the Summaries section:

I’m trying to add a shortcut to the Overview but failing. I click Edit dashboard, Add shortcut, paste in /config/zha/visualization, click Add custom path…

There’s no error but the list of shortcuts remains the same. Any ideas?

Have you tried reloading your browser and/or clearing the cache?

Yes.

I expect adding the shortcut to add to the list of shortcuts but it doesn’t, so I don’t get to save.

Have removed “solved” as I didn’t get the UI solution to work and don’t want to edit config files for this.

Post the yaml config for your shortcut card. I just tried @Didgeridrew’s suggestion & it worked immediately

I’m not creating a card, I’m editing the overview and using it’s UI to try and add a shortcut, as in the image in the OP. I’ve not created it edited YAML in those areas, so it should be as it was meant to be.

I’ve tried all 3 of the suggested solutions and they all work. You might be missing a / at the beginning of the custom path ( /config/zha/visualization) if you’re typing it in manually

All credit goes to @Didgeridrew - please don’t mark my post as the solution if it works.

Thanks for digging… I’m doing something wrong because I don’t get to that screen.

Overview > Edit

Shows:

Add Shortcut - gives me a search box with four categories. Nowhere in those categories is /config/zha/visualization so I type it in and accept by clicking on it underneath the search box.

I then return to the above screen which hasn’t changed. I was expecting it to be added to that list but maybe I’m supposed to see that GUI.

What an I missing?

That’s expected.

When you first do it, the new shortcut will be labelled “Settings”:

You can click on the pencil to edit it’s name and other details:

If you’re not seeing anything like what I’ve posted above… are you sure you are using ZHA and not Zigbee2MQTT?

Thanks, that’s it. If the new shortcut wasn’t named Settings I’d have realised this myself. Calling it New or Custom or almost anything that is not already a thing would be better. Instead it’s disguised as an existing built-in feature.
