I recently installed a few UTE 3500 thermostats and they are now all integrated with Home Assistant.
I am curious:
- Is anyone using these as well?
- What has your experience with them been like?
- Do you have some interesting facts, automations or other things to share?
The thermostats recently received an update to firmware 1.7.144.0 and the process was seemless in Home Assistant.
What does not work, however, is switching between heating and cooling mode. I was wondering if it is necessary to use the changeover input on the device to be able to switch at all. Switching via the thermostat card shows unexpected behavior (it changes back to heating immediately, but when switching modes via Dev Tools > States it sticks), but the thermostat does not seem to go into cooling mode.
