Ecobee - Any automations to ensure only one AC runs at a time on a dual system setup?

I have a dual zone set up with two Ecobee’s. One upstairs and one downstairs and I have solar and Powerwalls.

If both AC units are running at the same time, the solar usually doesn’t have enough output to cover and power is pulled from grid or Powerwalls. While this causes no real impact either financial or operational, as a fun project I’m curious if I could set some automation up to keep both from running at once.

For instance, if both Ecobee’s are on “Cool” and one triggers the compressor, the other’s cooling threshold temp is raised temporarily so it doesn’t also start cooling. Then when the other stops running, the trigger temp is lowered back to where it was.

I keep the downstairs a few degrees cooler to try to balance the house, but when the downstairs runs, the warm air displaces and rises upstairs and usually kicks on the upstairs unit. If I keep the temp the same on both floors, the upstairs runs a lot as it’s trying to cool the whole house since all the cold upstairs air makes it way downstairs pretty efficiently.

Has anyone else put something together for this scenario?

Was googling the same question and your post popped up. Ever come up with a solution? Thanks.
