Ecobee set_fan_min_on_time service unavailable

Hello there. I am new to HA, so hopefully this isn’t too stupid a question. I am using HomeAssistant container version, running on a Synology NAS. I have an Ecobee Premium with two temperature sensors. When the sensors are too different, I want to set the fan mode to run every 15 minutes.

So far I have created a template to run the math (absolute value of difference between sensors). This seems to trigger the automation just fine. However, the service “set_fan_min_on_time” doesn’t seem available when the Ecobee is configured as a homekit device.

Is there any way to unlock this extra functionality now that Ecobee has stopped handing out API keys?

I have the same question. Since Ecobee is no longer handing out API keys is there a way to set the “set_fan_min_on_time” value in an automation? I want to set it at night when sleeping and turn off during the day. As it is, I have to manually set it in the app every morning and night.
