Ecowitt WS69/GW1100A - how to transfer historical data?

Hello,

My HA setup is currently half-broken due the preparation of a network (LAN/WiFi) rebuild.

Besides several other things like smart plugs, this means that HA has been disconnected from our Ecowitt GW1100A for the past 3 to 4 weeks.

When the connection will be restored (in about 2 weeks), there will be a huge gap in the historical data.

Is there a way to transfer the data from the Ecowitt gateway to the HA history retrospectively, as if it was connected all the time?
If yes, how would I do this?

Yes, it will.

Is the data being collected and stored somewhere? Seperately on ‘the cloud’? If not, are you planning to import fake made-up data? If so, you just have to prepare and import the data in the correct format.

I can get the complete history from the Ecowitt app, so it has to be stored either locally on the GW1100A or in Ecowitt’s cloud…
