Edit file in HA Core Service

Hi All,
I am using Home assitant core service in my Ubuntu. it is working as expected. But I need to edit the configuration.yaml file and need to add a few configuration files to the folders in HA core service

There is no external add-on feature in HA Core service. So, no File editor, terminal. etc…

Please help to me achieve this

It is Ubuntu, plenty of possibilities to edit files

  • install Samba and edit from Windows/MacOS/another Linux system
  • open a SSH shell and use nano/mc/any editor

Hi,

I run HA core in a container on Ubuntu and sometimes a web based editor is more convenient than trying to SSH in / use vim especially when you’re on the move and trying to do this using your phone

For ease of use I run filebrowser again in a container but it can be installed too
