I tried now three times to upgrade to 2026.5.1 but everytime the EDL21 is not reading the usb IR meter reader.
The system detects correctly the usb port and the EDL21 is correctly setup to read from usb0.

2026-05-15 14:31:14.385 homeassistant kernel: usb 2-1: cp210x converter now attached to ttyUSB0
But only one value is read and then the process stops.
When I return to the previous April version, it works always fine. Since there are some changes in the new release regarding IR devices, I have now the suspicion that something is not tested properly. Has anybody an idea about the root cause or if someone else has detected this issue as well.?
Ich have exactly the same issue. I've tried two upgrades now with 2026.5 and 2026.5.2 and had always to revert back to 2026.4.4. After each restart, I do only get one reading and then the process stops.
Thanks for your feedback and that it still does not work with 2026.5.2 so that I can save a test and a roll-back again. Looks that we have to wait for the developers to pick up the issue.
I have also this problem. I think here it was working with 2026.5. I haven't seen that isn't updating the values anymore because there was always a value on my main dashboard visible. But it was over the past days always the same number as I found out now.
