I’ve been testing the Elecrow ESP32-P4 panel for Home Assistant and made a simple enclosure for it, so I thought I’d share the 3D files here in case they’re useful to anyone else.
I like the concept of this panel because it works a little differently from many ESP32 wall displays: instead of building and rendering a separate UI on the panel itself, it displays the dashboard from your Home Assistant server. So you can keep using the dashboard you’ve already configured in HA.
The panel itself is available without an enclosure, so I made one for 3D printing.
I’m looking into replacing my aging wall mounted Android tablets, so this is timely and helpful. Hopefully you don’t mind me asking some questions about the Elecrow.
Are you happy with the performance and dashboard responsiveness?
Does it have presence detection? If not I’m thinking of possibly adding a microwave sensor to the back.
Does it have a battery? I’d prefer direct power and no battery.
