For about the last week, my Electricity Maps integration (CO2 Intensity and Grid Fossil Fuel %) keeps going unavailable periodically:
It recovers on it’s own eventually (or if I reload it manually), but I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing this. I’m in the US and specifically on the ‘US-CENT-SWPP’ grid, (in case it’s an issue further upstream). Looking at my history, I can see what looks like it starting to do this about a week ago. I was actually out of town then, so no active changes were made to anything.
The logs just show it failing to connect, but I don’t know if it’s a server issue or if possibly something on my end (I’ve tried both replacing and reseating the network cable just in case). I see no other major network/internet issues in general and the only other HA issues I’ve seen are some custom integrations also occasionally having connectivity issues (but they’re all ones that have always been a bit flakey, so no idea if it’s related or just a coincidence). If it’s a network issue on my side, it’s INCREDIBLY short-lived as I see no other smoking guns like I would expect. Just trying to figure out if I need to start troubleshooting more on my end or not…
