Electricity Meter Value

Hello everyone, unfortunately I don’t have a smart meter at the moment, but I would like to display my current meter reading in Homeassistant. this saves me the way to the basement for my TIBBER electricity contract. Now I thought it would be possible to use a simple counter to set the current value of my meter as the starting value and add the values of my Shelly 3 Energy Meter every day just before midnight. can someone tell me how to best implement this?

Create a template sensor that adds the offset to the energy sensor.

  - sensor:
      - name: "Energy Meter"
        state: "{{ states('sensor.your_energy_sensor_here')|float(0) + 12345 }}"
        availability: "{{ states('sensor.your_energy_sensor_here')|is_number }}"
        device_class: energy
        state_class: total_increasing
        icon: "mdi:counter"
        unit_of_measurement: "kWh"

Replace 12345 with the offset between your meter and your energy sensor state.

Perfect! THX
