Anyone using ELIQ? I always get the error “Could not access the ELIQ Online API: HTTP Error 400: Bad Request”. The API keys are good, could it be broken since they changed URL to eliq.io? Any ideas how I could change that URL.
cheers, trd

Don’t think that you need to change the URL as the components author seems to have committed that change already. See https://github.com/molobrakos/eliqonline/commit/c39354b5007a6a4c983e9c4a460d72c7709d6457
A change in the ELIQ API now requires you to pass the channel id
. The API docs are here: https://eliq.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002708449-API-Eliq-Online and the HASS compnent docs are here: https://home-assistant.io/components/sensor.eliqonline/.
What you need to do is add the channel id
to your eliqonline
sensor configuration in HASS. The channel id
can be found here: https://my.eliq.io/user/settings/locations under the confusing label of API:
. It should be a four digit number.
Hope this helps.
Cheers! doing as you suggest worked as a charm I was focus too much on the example in which the channel_id wasn’t included, but it was in the text below. Now I’m a happy geezer, great stuff the HA
Glad it helped. I also finished a pull request for the eliqonline components page that updates all the links and adds the channel_id field to the example.
Hello ! Which Eliq device do you have. I am interested to use Eliq energy sensor with hub. Is that working like sense. Is Eliq and Lifesmart same thing ?
