Have been waiting a couple of days to see if this integration works. The status for the integration is
“No device or entities”.
I followed the documentation and pasted in the API token, without any entitles or devises getting into HA.
Any ideas what I am missing?
The integration provides no entities.
It only import consumption into the statistics table which can be used in the Energy dashboard and statistics cards.

Is there any reason it does not create regular entities/sensors?
It would be nice, both to use other cards than the statistics card, and to create automations (notifications for certain conditions), log data to e.g. Influx etc.
It’s historical data, so it does not make sense as entities.
Entities represent now.
I would argue that at least the most current datapoint - even if it is delayed by up to an hour - represents the same kind of “now” as most other sensors that are not 100% real time updated. Lots of sensors have a peridoic update interval which is “good enough” also inbetween updates.
