I’m in my initial weeks of HA exploration. Dashboard is coming out well so far. This is my first message in the community as well.
I have an android app (also in IOS). It’s basically an Indian regional daily calendar. It changes automatically every day in the app. At present, we have a physical paper format hanging on the wall, where we tear a page every day. It’s also a problem to find the physical one in Germany. So, thought of adding it to the HA dashboard. There is also a web page for this calendar, but it’s filled with ads all around. (Tamil Daily Calendar 2025 - 2005 தமிழ் தினசரி காலண்டர் 2025 - 2005)
The app has a widget that works well on my phone. I’m looking for options to embed this widget into HA dashboard together with other usual HA integrations on same view. I’m also flexible to have a dedicated view/page/tab for this widget, even full screen.
Currently, i’ve added the webpage as card. Problem is that, every time i swipe between the views, i have to scroll the section up manually to cover ads and bring the main portion to fit the window. I’ve tried adjusting the aspect ratio, but that didn’t help.
If something can be done to remove a fixed amount of top portion, say some lines or space to lift the actual content, that should also be ok i think.
I’ve referred to the below links within the community already, but they didnt help my case.
I’m not looking for a button that would open the app or widget, rather i need the widget to be open the whole time and keep updating on a daily basis.
