I wanted to add home assistant to alexa. at the beginning it worked i could use emulated hue to controll my lights from home assistant but now it doesnt respond and it didnt update my device list in alexa
You should use Alexa app and start device search manually, that should get the latest devices into alexa BUT it will not remove the stale ones, it is on you to clutter the room 
I search it manual add device>hub>Philips>v1.
But the problem is I removed all devices to clean up the list. Did a new search, and it added all old devices without the new ones and none of them are responsible
