Enable usb_max_current_enable=1 on Pi 5 with HAOS 17.1

I am trying to enable more power to my usb devices on my pi5 to handle an external usb nvme drive and my SLZB matter antenna. I can’t figure out where to find the config.txt that is mentioned all over the place.

I have ssh access to HA but don’t see a boot folder under /mnt.

[core-ssh mnt]$ ls
[core-ssh mnt]$

Making any changes to the HAOS dontainer will likely be over written as soon as you update.
Consider either

  • Adding an externally powered USB Hub
  • Higher wattage power supply in case that is the actual limit you are running into
  • Changing install method to container so that you have access the the base PI-OS.
