Is there anyway to disable backup encryption?
It seems it’s no longer possible to unpack a backup and access it’s contents even with the key.
Not being able to access one’s own user data would represent a major set back.
Any assistance would be much appreciated 
Search the community. There have been 100’s, if not 1000’s, of comments on this.
Have any of these 1000’s of people added the bug to github?
EDIT: I just looked in core and front end, I don’t see any.

The automatic stuff any the new manual are encrypted (all the new stuff).
However all the old stuff still works, that is only encrypted if you do it yourself.
