After the next crash, I tried to restore from backup, but the issue is—“the encrypt key is wrong.” WHY?? The key was generated and stored 3 months ago, but now it does not work. This key must not be changing, or should I back up the key every day?!!
i extracted the SD memory with the crashed HA OS, do I have any chance to find a key (where is it stored ) that was used for the last backup generation?
I’m totally disappointed. More than 7 years of my system building have been posted to trash!!
If you extracted the backup from a crashed SD card, the backup could also be corrupted.
i tried to extract the configuration and automation files (this is a little more than zero) … but most of them is corrupted as well (… but some of i can open
