Energy cost on the frontend

I want to display the cost of the energy usage of the current month on lovelace.
Now this could be possible with use of a template and alot of coding i think.
But the energy page already shows this data, is there anyway to display that directly?

Been looking for a way but couldnt find a straight forward way. Energy cards look good for it but seem very limited?

Did you manage to find this out? I’m having the same question. With the extreme gas prices in Europe at the moment, it would be interesting to show the cost of gas consumption for today on the front screen.
