this is my first post here as I didn´t find any relevant topic.
I use HA with Solardegde Modbus Integration connected to a SolarEdge System with solar panels, inverter and batteries.
The battery discharge “Batterientladung” (bright green bar) is shown both negative and positive even though the values are always positive.
Is there something wrong in my configuration or maybe just between my ears?
Looks like that is expected. It has been mentioned before and discussed in a Github issue.
Charging a battery from grid has been designed to be displayed on the “export” side of graph. It’s not always intuitive, but on the other hand using battery is like using solar, and so it makes sense that using battery is shown on the positive side.
Are you discharging battery to grid or to house? If grid then the graph is per design. If house then it could be a setup issue of the energy dashboard. What does your devices detail graph look at the same time - this may assist in insight into what Home Assistant Energy Dashboard is calclating. I don’t have a battery (yet) so have no practical insight to give.
