I recently configured energy monitoring on the main incomer and also on my battery system which all seems to work OK.
However as shown below the home usage is double counted, my system is configured to buy energy off-peak then discharge during peak, this happens daily.
What is happening is that the energy going into the battery from the grid and also all energy coming out of the battery is being summed.
Would it not make sense that home is just the energy consumed in the home? ie grid import-battery charge+ battery discharge?
other use cases such as solar and export may have other quirks that need consideration.
