Energy Dashboard: Network fees?

Network fees are no longer just a flat fee or a minor adjustment to the monthly energy bill: especially with dynamic energy prices, the network fees can already be higher than the actual energy costs. They might also change during the day (esp. in the summer) to encourage higher usage at peak solar times.
Currently, I track the current price in a sensor, but there’s no easy way to make them visible. I love the current energy dashboard for its visibility, but it’s lacking this price component.

Are there plans for adding a separate configuration for network fee sensors? Are you supposed to just add the network fees to the normal price sensor? What about VAT? Are you using a different solution altogether?

No plans that I know of. There’s very likely a feature request you can vote for here somewhere:

Personally I use template sensors to calculate (and predict) the actual cost.

This is a modern day reality. That it is not offered by the Energy integration is a shame, each related app and integration having to roll out their own workaround for associating costs with energy flow (the two are related)
