Energy dashboard not showing cost

I wanted to keep track of my energy consumption and cost so I installed Home Assistant Glow. That worked perfect instantly. To test the Energy dashboard I took the electricity price from Nord Pool current price sensor. That worked also fine, I could see the cost changing. But the Nord Pool price is just a fraction of the total price so I made a custom sensor calculating the total. The sensor works. It shows the actual cost and I can see it in the history. When I use the new sensor in the energy dashboard the cost is zero. I change back to the previous setting that worked, just the Nord Pool price. Now even that is zero. What has happened? How can I find out what is wrong? I have waited a day for changes to take place. I have restarted the system several times.

- sensor:
    - name: "Elpris totalt"
      unique_id: 3f97265a-b334-4206-b377-0b2bf4b6827e
      unit_of_measurement: "SEK/kWh"
      state: >
        {% set proportional = 0.95 %}
        {% set dynamic = states('sensor.nord_pool_se3_current_price') | float %}

        {{ proportional + dynamic }}

To start triage please download an energy diagnostic (button top right corner of energy config page, version 2025.10+), and share.

Thank you!
I got it working.
Tried to delete the cost sensor generatad by the energy dashboard but didn’t succeed so I deactivated it. I didn’t know what it was good for. Now I know :blush:
