I have recently added the emporia vue 3 into my sub panel in my garage. So that is monitoring the 2 main legs coming in and then 8 breakers in that box.
Curious though on how this works with the energy dashboard. If i add the main legs as “grid consumption”. But when I add another vue 3 to my main breaker and monitor the main legs for that. Those would be “grid consumption” and then my sub panel would need to be switched to an “individual device” but that’s 2 big legs of electricity. Then i have clamps on breakers like “masterbedroom_circuit”. On that master bedroom circuit i have some sonoff plugs reporting the power consumption of stuff like a space heater ect.
So what would be the recommended way to add the devices to the energy dashboard so I can see how power is going?

Where space heater would be subtracted from the usage of “sub panel leg 1” and “sub panel leg 1” would be subtracted from main.
