Energy flow diagram not showing grid export

Should the energy flow diagram show export to the grid, as mine is missing it:

yet I believe it is configured correctly as energy distribution reports the export:

this is the sensor I configured in the energy dashboard:

Yes, energy exported to grid does show.

Your solar, which can go to the home, to the battery, and to the grid as export, shows home and battery but is missing the onward flow to grid (export).

I note that your “Configure grid connection” shows one entity sensor for the energy exported, but is blank for the energy imported. I wonder if you have added two grid connections, one with just import and the other with just export, rather than having one grid connection with both import and export sensors. Splitting the grid sensors between two separate connections is probably confusing the dashboard…

Thanks, I thought it probably should have.

You’re correct, I actually have three grid connections configured - one is export, the other two import as I have two different tariffs (peak and off peak) so configured them separately so I could track usage.

Edit: I think doing this may fix it Frequently Asked Questions about home energy management - Home Assistant

Nope, same problem and doing this actually seemed to give me dual reporting.

I guess I’ll live with it not showing the grid export on the energy flow, current power flow works fine anyway:

Seems like it could be a bug, feel free to open a github issue (frontend) if you want to have it looked at.
