Here shows that I have imported 3.3kWh of energy, this is the energy I will be charged for. However in the sources it is saying the grid total is only 2.04kWh as it is deducting the exported solar from the total imported.
Unfortunately that is not how out meters work, we get charged for every kWh we import regardless of what is exported (we have a feed in tariff but that is perseverate from this calculation)
So in the Sources block the grid total should still be saying 3.3kWh as that is what has been drawn from the grid and what I will be charged for, because the real meter doesn't go backwards, it only counts the units imported.
On the summary page, all you see is the net energy (import - export), and the net cost (import cost - export compensation).
That does not mean that the cost is only calculated on the net. You have full control to set the price you are charged for consumption, and the return compensation (if any) that you get for export. So your scenario where you are charged for all 3.3kWh should be able to be accurately shown here. You will still see 2kW as that is the net energy, but you should see the price that you paid for the 3.3kWh, minus whatever compensation you have setup.
If you want to see the full cost details, go to the electricity panel, not the summary panel, where you will see it broken down into energy import cost, energy export compensation, and total net cost.
