On some occasions the energy reporting is topping for a while and when renewed there is a big spike in the measurement for this hour.
My suggestion will be to average out the spike and assign the values to the hours since the last real measurement has occurred. Anyway we have lost the hour accuracy but at least there will be no suspicious looking spikes in the graph.
