Hello folks!
since March 31st, i’ve an issue on the energy dashboard. the statistics are wrong. it takes the value of the previous day at midnight.
so finally the current day contains also the values of the previous day.
Last week end, was the move from Winter time to Summer time. maybe a coincidence. but it is like we have a gap between midnight and 1am.
the time in HA is correctly setup.
any idea?
Are the timezone also set to the correct city?
Hi, I’m experiencing the exact same problem, since about 3 weeks ago. Posted a message last night but no resolution yet. Three weeks ago was also my change to daylight savings time.
Yes it is. Everything else works like a charm. It is only the energy module which seems stuck in the winter time.
Maybe the issue is the source, which might not have changed to day light saving.
Have you checked the value of your sensor just before and after midnight?
i will try to look.
however we have no way to check the setting of the energy module or a way to reset it somewhere?
hey
indeed i saw your topic after created mine.
your home assistant is installed on a VM?
It was to determine if the correction should be made in the integration pr the energy dashboard.
Yes it is. Used the ova package to install in VMware 6.7
in my side, ova package on Synology Virtual manager.
what i don’t understand, it is why a small amount of users seems impacted by this problem.
I looked to the sensors value. In fact, it concerns only one brand of my sensors which are not reset at midnight but at 1am.
All my Meross Power plug stayed to the winter time.
i looked to the configuration of the integration ‘Meross Lan’ and the timezone is well configured.
i don’t know how to force the time update
Report it as a bug and see what happens
Quick update. I’ve reset all my power plugs Meross in order to reenroll them via le local Meross broker. It allowed me to send the time zone again.
Everything is correct now. Hoping that I will not have to do that each daylight saving twice a year.
