Hello!… I am looking to optimise my energy bills based on my energy plan.
My energy plan has the following tariffs :
Off peak from (cheap)12am -6am
Super off peak (free) energy from 11am -1pm
Standard usage rates all other times
What I want to know is - how much electricity did I use from 11-1 in the last 12 months…. Or 30 days if there isn’t historical data. Anyone know how this can be done?
This will allow me to estimate how much I use (without any lifestyle changes to take advantage of the free energy tariff)
Tia!
Hi @sushant-verma
Afaik this ist not possible directly out of Homeassistant.
There are no options for calculations of historical data.
One option you have, you can export the historical data as CSV and do the calculations in other applications.
If there are options directly in HA. I would like to know it as well.
Cheers
Matt
I am looking for this exact functionality for essentially the same reason (I want to choose between a few options for time of day rates based on what will be most cost effective for my current usage profile). Unfortunately, outside of looking at individual days, nothing is broken up by hour in the energy dashboard.
This would be an amazing addition to the dashboard, but even if that never happens, at least you can download the data and process it externally.
