Hi all,
I am looking for an advice on integrating ENGO Controls underfloor heating to HA over local Zigbee (no cloud), specifically:
ECB62-ZB control box (6 Zigbee + 2 wired zones), and EONE-230 (or E40-230) room thermostats / E30NC-230 actuators
…using Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant.
What I’m aiming for
- Run everything local on my existing Z2M network (no EGATE-PRO cloud).
- Use ENGO Binding–like behavior locally: thermostat ↔ ECB62-ZB linkage per zone.
- Expose climate entities (setpoint/mode/presets), zone relay states, pump/boiler states, and names.
- Keep device replacement painless (Z2M Groups, stable entities).
Z2M devices pages exist:
ECB62-ZB (exposes zones, pump/boiler, names, link flags).
EONE (climate + a lot of options, includes control_algorithm / PI).
Questions for anyone who has this running, or anyone having an advice:
- Local binding: Can you link EONE/E40 thermostats to ECB62-ZB zones on local Zigbee network (not via EGATE-PRO), either with standard clusters or Tuya DPs (0xEF00)?
- DP map: Do you have a working DPID map (IDs, types, scaling) for EONE/E40 and ECB62-ZB (zone states, names, pump/boiler, link flags)?
- Reporting: Are temps/setpoints/relays reporting reliably (rates, debounce)?
- Scenes/Groups: Any use of Z2M Groups or is it all device-specific?
- Quirks: Firmware versions known-good/bad? Anything special for control_algorithm (PI) via DP?
If you solved this, please share:
- your external_converters (if any),
- the DP table you used,
- screenshots of working entities,
- and any binding steps you followed.
Thanks!
