Enhanced Shutter Card

Update: after multiple cache clearings, 4 of the 5 images I have are now working with this format:

type: custom:enhanced-shutter-card
entities:
  - entity: cover.window_blind_1
    name: Window Blind 1
    view_image: /local/images/winter-window1.png

One image in particular is not working this way, and I still cannot figure out why. That image does work in the default directory though.
Tried the iOS app, and different browsers, clearing cache in all of them, etc.

Any ideas?

I need more info to answer this.
Please give a working and the not-working yaml-part.

I have two Switchbot curtain Rod 3 that closing two curtains in the centre of the window. The two are calibrated and connected. In HA i control the left Switchbot, then the left is triggerd as well.

Is there a solution for this with this card?
I see left and right, but no centre.

‘ In HA i control the left Switchbot, then the left is triggerd as well.’
I do not understand this part.

The current horizontal movement has no ‘centre’ option, it is a simple variant of the vertical shutter.

I already expected this questtion, and I am thinking about a general solution for it.

Hi @marcelhoogantink ,
I’m highy appreciate your invest in this new card , many THANKS marcelhoogantink !!!

I did some first attemps looking good for default shutters ,
but if I got it right I dont found the solution for my case …

We have 2 somehow triangle gable windows , were shutter base/motor is placed on botton,
so moving down is opening and moving up closing …
This is somehow reflected in option “closing_direction: up” ,
but not in the icon handling beside there was no related triangle Icon as I can see.
Below u find a related picture to make it more transparent
Sorry if this was somehow discussed in past already and /or I oversee that there is a implemted solution already .
I’m not experienced well in HA and feel mostly still as rookie after almost 2 years HA

best regards

@FlintS ,
Thank you for your kind words.
I have not seen this kind of solution before.
It wil be hard to cover this one visually, but can yoy send me a picture of the shutter half-closed?

And do you have an idea how this should/could be handled? (At the moment, I do not)
