I just noticed that the Enphase Envoy integration seems to have recently changed the update interval from every 60 seconds to every 60 minutes for my installation.
It looks like the values are only updated once an hour, approx. 38 minutes past the hour.
The change is clearly visible in the chart from July 25th to July 26th.
Is it a possibility that my installation is running out of API calls for the month?
Or is it something completely different I have no control over?
Looks like you are not the only one with the issue:
API calls for the month is not related, the data is not obtained from the cloud but from the local Envoy. For some reason the Envoy is only getting data from the inverters once an hour.
I used the info from the GitHub issue and chatted with an Enphase support person - they changed the polling interval back to 300s and now it seems to work fine again
Thanks again for the hint!
Just a quick update in case anybody is following:
In the last 10 days the pooling value was set back from 300 to 3600 twice again - I contacted Enphase Support about it via chat and they fixed it twice.
But it’s for sure getting old.
I was told that their Support Team is aware of the issue with the value changing back to 3600 automatically every few days and they’re working on a solution.
Thanks for reporting this. On my end I haven’t noticed an issue. On partly-cloudy days like today I do notice that the Envoy occasionally misses a rapid drop or spike in power compared to my other power sensor (Sense Home Energy Monitor):
