Entity without a unique ID assign location

Hi,

I’ve added my Yamaha receiver through the configuration.yaml file, but this creates an entity without a unique ID that I can then not assign to a location… what would be the way to do this?

Is it a MusicCast capable receiver?

If so, use this integration instead:

Then you can not assign an area.
