Hi.
Anybody with an Enphase Envoy-S Metered able to confirm something relating to storage CTs?
Recently had an Enphase solar & battery installed, and while there’s a storage/battery CT installed it’s not showing up in the Enphase integration. Checking the local Envoy UI it shows Production and Consumption metering (I have both P & C CTs), but nothing for storage. I suspect there’s a misconfiguration by the installer (we’ve had other issues), but don’t know what a “correct” setup looks like.
If there’s someone out there with Envoy-S Metered and has a storage/battery CT installed, can you tell me whether you see the CT in the local Envoy UI?
Provided you use the HA core integration, you can download the Enphase envoy diagnostic file from HA. In there you can see what was recognized by the integration as installed CT. In the file look for below part. I have no CT so these all show as null in my example.
so I’m fairly sure the Envoy isn’t reporting the CT, but it was more a question of whether (if one’s installed) the Storage CT shows up in the Envoy Web UI, or it’s always just Production/Consumption/Net?
For some reason it’s being a bit of a battle to get Enphase to recognise that the CT isn’t working, so if it should show up in that “Metering” section that would be a fairly big flag I would wave at them to show it’s not working…
I see. As I have no CT I can’t provide first hand experience. Only secondary information from their API description where they mention under GET http://{IQ_Gateway_ip}/ivp/meters/readings: Description: Returns measurements from Production CT, storage CT, and Consumption CT, and all are subject to the availability of CTs. (That’s were HA gets its data from.) But if that flag is big enough…
