Error after clean Install of HA to 8GB RPi5 w Waveshare PCIe To M.2 Adapter Board (E) For Raspberry Pi 5 & KingSpec Solid State Drive NX Series 128 GB M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0 x 4 NVMe 1.3 M

  • Error after clean Install of HA to 8GB RPi5 with
    (1) Hat: Waveshare PCIe To M.2 Adapter Board (E) For Raspberry Pi 5 &
    (2) Drive: KingSpec Solid State Drive NX Series 128 GB M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0-4 NVMe 1.3 M
    (3) Power: 5V/5Amp power (27.x W)
  • No issue installing or working off SD Card. Issue is only on nvme drive clean install
  • No errors during RPi imager
  • When boot off nvme drive I get: erofs: (device nvme0n1p3): erofs_read_inode: failed to get inode (nid: 109) page, err: -5 and a a whole bunch of “failed unmounting xxxxxxxxxxx” and hangs
  • Using the same hat, drive and rpi imager I can clean install Ubuntu 24.03.04 or ParrotOS without any issues.
    Anyone have any thoughts and prayers?
