Error with Discovering Components (at Installation)

as I launch home assistant via: hass --open -ui

I get this error message in terminal:
ERROR:homeassistant.bootstrap:Not initializing discovery because could not install dependency netdisco==0.5.5

I can launch the GUI, but none of my devices are discovered leaving with an empty Home Assistant view.

Also got this error previously:

Command "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.5/bin/python3.5 -u -c "import setuptools, tokenize;__file__='/private/var/folders/f1/6nhn6jrd4mqglyl642r267mh0000gn/T/pip-build-2sk9m_ub/netifaces/';exec(compile(getattr(tokenize, 'open', open)(__file__).read().replace('\r\n', '\n'), __file__, 'exec'))" install --record /var/folders/f1/6nhn6jrd4mqglyl642r267mh0000gn/T/pip-m_1aktf6-record/install-record.txt --single-version-externally-managed --compile --user --prefix=" failed with error code 1 in /private/var/folders/f1/6nhn6jrd4mqglyl642r267mh0000gn/T/pip-build-2sk9m_ub/netifaces/

A dependency (python-netifaces) of netdisco was not installed.

Ahhh. I am on latest OS X El Capitan. I installed Xcode, and that seems to have fixed the problem also.
